Personalised cards - general notes
You can choose to personalise your cards. Add this service at check out and type your message when prompted.
See below for notes on sending personalised cards directly to your recipient or to have it delivered to you.
If you choose to send a personalised card directly to your recipient, we will handwrite the envelope too using the recipient’s name and address. Be sure to add this information in the shipping fields (instead of your own) at check out.
We will write your message exactly as received. We cannot take any responsibility for any errors submitted at check out, please double check your message is correct before confirming your order.
Given the nature of handwriting, the font and style of calligraphy and handwriting may vary. This may also vary on the card size and number of words in your personalised message. If you are looking for a specific style of writing, get in touch with us by email at hello@zahraandco.com and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
We recommend no more than 60 words per card.
Personalised writing services cost £3.00 per card. This includes the envelope.
Sending a personalised card directly to your recipient
We can send your personalised greeting card directly to your recipient. Select this option at check out:
My recipient, sealed and sent directly in the Send to field
Select Handwritten or Calligraphy in the Personalised Message field. You can see examples of each writing style in Writing Services.
When prompted to, type your personalised message in the text box.
Be sure to have added your recipient's name and address (instead of your own) when confirming the shipping information at check out.
If you choose to send a personalised card to your recipient, we’ll:
Write your personalised message in handwritten script or calligraphy
Handwrite the envelope addressed to your recipient
Seal and send the card with a first class stamp
We aim to dispatch personalised cards within 5 days
Cards sent to the UK should arrive within 3 working days but we cannot guarantee delivery time.
Ordering a personalised card but delivered directly to you
If you would like your card personalised but delivered directly to you, we’ll:
Write your personalised message in handwriting script or calligraphy
Leave the envelope blank and unsealed
Post the card to you in a keepsafe, hard-backed envelope.
We aim to dispatch personalised cards within 5 days.
General orders
If you would like your cards delivered to you without a personalised writing service, select the correct options at check out, ie:
To me, unsealed and unaddressed envelope in the Send to field
Select No, thank you in the Personalised Message field
When prompted to add your personalised message, type No in the text box.
Be sure to add your own name and address in the shipping fields at check out for this delivery option.
Dispatch
Your order is usually dispatched within 3 working days. This lead time will be longer if you have requested personalised calligraphy or handwriting service, during public and bank holidays, or during busy periods such as Eid.
If you would like your order to arrive by express delivery, please message us and we’ll do our best to assist you.
With the ongoing uncertainity of postal services, we will do our very best to get your order to you as quickly as possible, but unfortunately delays due to strikes and weather are beyond our control.
Delivery
Orders are sent as standard shipping via Jersey Post.
Deliveries may take longer from the Channel Islands compared to normal UK post.
At the moment, we only deliver to Jersey and the UK.
Faulty or damaged products
We hope all our products will reach you in excellent condition. If in the unfortunate instance they are faulty, damaged or incorrect, please email us at hello@zahraandco.com within 48 hours of receiving your order.
You should contact us by email before returning your order.
Unfortunately, we cannot take responsibility for orders damaged in transit.
Cancelling your order
You may cancel your order and receive a full refund if it has not yet been dispatched. You can email us at hello@zahraandco.com to notify us of your change of mind.
Once your order has been dispatched, you can return your unwanted items following the instructions below.
We cannot cancel orders that have already been personalised.
Returning your order
We hope you will be delighted with your purchase but if you need to return your order, please inform us as soon as possible by email, and return the items within 7 days of receiving them.
We will send you a return address and further instructions by email.
The items should be sent to us in their original, re-sellable condition.
We strongly recommend sending your unwanted items by tracked delivery service in case of accidental loss or damage. You should mark these as 'returns' on the shipping label.
We do not cover the cost of postage for returned items.
We will acknowledge your return and refund your payment, minus delivery costs, once we receive the items and are satisfied with the condition of the products.
The refund may take up to 14 days to arrive in your account. This is dependant on your bank's processing times.
If your item is faulty or sent in error, please email us at hello@zahraandco.com before returning your order.
We cannot refund personalised or bespoke products, unless faulty.
Buying our products and services
Using our website, buying our products and services means you accept these terms and conditions unconditionally.
These terms and conditions may be updated or amended at any time without prior notice or announcement.
It is your responsibility to read these terms and conditions before using this website or buying our products and services.
Copyright and ownership
All the images, artwork, designs and products, both digital and hardcopy, are owned and controlled by Zahra & Co.
It is important that we protect our design and business, therefore, you are not permitted to reproduce artwork, download, screenshot or use the designs for any other purpose, commercial or personal, on any platform without the explicit permission of Zahra & Co.
You are not permitted to turn any of our text, artwork or designs into e-cards, memes or send them as forwards.
Any breach of the above may violate civil and criminal law.
Products and services
We reserve the right to make changes to the website content, products, services and prices without prior notice or announcement.
Whilst we will make every effort to make sure products are consistent and accurately represented, stock may vary between batches or reprints. If you are considering a large order, please contact us directly to discuss your requirements.
Prices
Prices are correct at the time of uploading to the website.
We reserve the right to correct or change prices at any time without notice or announcement.
In the event of a pricing error, we may take the product off the market until corrected.
Any discount codes, sales, offers and price changes are at the discretion of Zahra & Co. and can be removed or withdrawn at any time.
Your information, privacy and consent
What do we do with your information?
When you shop with Zahra & Co. we collect your basic information to process your order. By entering your information into our website you automatically provide us with consent.
We will only use your information for purchases, shipping and returns. We will also use this information to contact you if there is a query or issue with your order.
Your information is stored on a secure data server held by Squarespace, our e-commerce platform and website host.
We do not share or sell your personal details or payment information.
Use of cookies
Cookies are small pieces of text sent to your browser when you visit a site. They serve a variety of functions, like enabling us to remember certain information you provide to us as you navigate between pages on the Services. We use cookies on this site for analytics, performance and other functions. You can opt out of this through your own browser but this may limit your functionality on our website.
Browser location
When you search or browse our website, your IP address is automatically logged to help us make improvements with search and browsing.
Email marketing
You are not added to our marketing lists automatically, nor do we sell your email address for 3rd party marketing.
If we want to update you and share offers we will ask you to sign up to our mailing list. If you choose to sign up, this is giving consent for us to contact you for marketing purposes.

Disclosure
